Why not reach out to @YorkshireTea, the most popular tea brand in the country, still with it's direct ties back to Taylors of Harrogate, founded in 1886, to produce what I think would be a wildly popular, commemorative and historic, British tea set?

Historic businesses, no matter how old, should not be saved by the state, no matter how sad, for the sake of nostalgia.

In the current, rapidly rising climate of Union Jacks and English patriotism it is simply a marketing failure for England's oldest pottery company, founded in 1809, to not be a brand name ubiquitous in public mind.

"Voting should NOT be easy"

British citizens should not be allowed to vote until they're 25, pass an IQ test (80+) and a civics test. All eligible must vote in-person on voting day.

"But they pay tax and should have a say..." Wrong! No British born citizen should pay income tax until they are 25 either!

Any citizens continuously receiving benefits after 6 months up to 2 years, their vote only counts as half, over 2 years, a quarter vote. This remains until in stable employment for a year.

No British resident without full citizenship should ever be permitted vote in any election.

What are the pro's and con's of such a policy?
