Today, I am profoundly inspired by the remarkable progress that Las Anod has achieved since the historic moment we inaugurated it as one of the Federal Member States of our beloved Republic.
This progress is more than the story of a city, it is a testament to the resilience of our people, the strength of our unity, and the enduring promise of our nation. It stands as proof that when Somalis choose solidarity over division, hope over fear, and nationhood over narrow interests, there is no challenge beyond our capacity to overcome.
I pay tribute to the unwavering patriotism of the people of the North East State of Somalia. With dignity and resolve, they have rejected division, resisted all attempts to undermine our sovereignty, and stood firmly in defence of Somalia's territorial integrity. Their commitment is not only a service to their region but a service to our entire nation.
The Federal Government remains steadfast in its responsibility. Every government institution will continue to deliver essential services, strengthen governance, and invest in the economic and political prosperity of Las Anod and its people. Our duty is clear: to ensure that every Somali citizen enjoys the peace, opportunity, and security that they deserve.
I also extend my sincere gratitude to Somalia's development partners and our friends across the international community for their continued support. Your partnership has been invaluable in advancing Somalia's journey towards stability, prosperity, and lasting peace, and your support for Las Anod will help shape a stronger future for generations to come.
Together, united in purpose and confident in our destiny, we will continue to build a sovereign, peaceful, and prosperous Somalia for all.
Somalia remains united, inseparable, and non-negotiable as long as the Northeastern State and its people exist. We stand for Somali unity, as well as we are a bridge that connects the country as a whole since our location is pivotal to Somalia and the Horn of Africa politics.
@Aragsan22 Try at least to know what was happening there. The reality isn’t abt ppl settled in illegal places but it's a profit issue that gv wants to utilise ppl's properties in the wrong manner Displacing civilians isn't gv action, but brutality.
This picture expresses more than what we can see!!
How would they feel those who committed this crime when they get in front of Allah at the same time no one can escape from justice?!
@abdiwaliOA Ma qof yaroo oo aan xaal aduun waxba kala socon baa tahay adeer, wax aadan waxba ka garanayna waad dhex cararaysaa adigoo allahaa alle yahay.
Mise cuqdad baa kugu jirta oo sidaas baad u dabaalanaysaa wixii niyadaada ku soo dhaca?!
@EIshmael_ It's hard to get them out, Ethiopian officials in xalane are like the UN officials. So, none of our somali officers can change their presence in somalia.
HSM appears more opportunist than a unifying leader of his country. His actions suggest he benefits from fragmenting the country into divisions, showing little concern for the future consequences.
Ethiopia always respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Somalia And have deployed its troops since 2006. to help this failed nation to bring peace. Where many Ethiopian troops were lost their lives. However Somaliland. has never been a part of Somalia, but independent state which formed unconstitutional union with Somalia, in 1960. That failed union ended 1991 after ten years of bloody war against Barre dictator. Since then Somaliland is a democratic independent state.
Therefore the International Community should respect the sovereignty of Somaliland. And the MoU between Somaliland and Ethiopia is its final stage
Allah Save SL. Amiin
Dream, goal, and plan are three fundamental building blocks of every task. However, the goal and plan are the essential elements rather than just a dream. Without a goal and plan, a dream alone is meaningless.
Congrats on this incredible achievement! Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have paid off. So proud of you, best friend, Mohamed Ahmed Ismail.
