A big part of being successful is learning how to deal with DAILY disappointment, frustration, and overwhelm. There is no easy way to succeed. It’s hard. So buckle up and get going.
The easiest way to instantly become confident in English is to “identify” as a confident English speaker. It sounds weird, but it’s true. Stop saying you lack confidence. Decide to BE confident. You are what you say you are.
You literally get to be the captain of your life. If you take charge of your mind, you can take charge of everything it controls… which is MOST of what you experience and feel on a daily basis.
Something that never ceases to amaze me is how “mindset” is the answer for almost anything.
Feeing anxious? Change your mindset.
Hate working out? Change your mindset.
Feel unmotivated? Change your mindset.
🇨🇳💬 Immersion: The Key to Language Mastery 🚀
Starting Chinese from scratch today won't turn me into a polyglot in three months! 🙅♂️ But here's the twist: even beginners can thrive in full-on immersion! 🌏
I once took a class for native Spanish speakers - textbook, teacher, homework, discussions, ALL in Español! 🇪🇸 It might sound crazy, but guess what? Your brain craves context! With enough "touch points" and real-life situations, it picks up the language effortlessly. 🧠💡
Grammar Review - Past Continuous
was doing
1. I was doing my homework.
2. She was cleaning the kitchen.
3. He was eating his dinner.
4. It was raining nonstop.
5. We were planning a trip.
6. They were talking on the phone.
7. You were ignoring his message.
Sometimes changing your mindset is the ONLY thing you need for success. Instead of saying "it's HARD," tell yourself it's easy. Instead of saying, "I CAN'T," tell yourself that you can and you WILL.
The better your questions, the better the feedback will be. This is true whether you are doing a 1:1 session with a teacher/mentor or getting help from @ChatGTPBot
When I tell myself I can’t do something because it’s too hard or I’m too tired, I literally CAN’T do it. When I tell myself I CAN do it and I WILL do it, despite it being hard or me being tired… it gets DONE.
That’s the power of your MIND.
If you have a problem in your life that you are trying to solve, take a long warm shower or nice long walk outdoors. Your body and mind will relax in such a way that good ideas and perfect solutions will start flooding your brain. Trust me, it works every time.
