Civilian Informant Cries Out for Protection After Exposing Terrorist Activities. Please watch & Share

A civilian informant has made a public plea to both the government and the general public for urgent protection, claiming his life is in danger after providing intelligence on terrorist activities.

“There’s a terrorist named Bashar Mania, who claimed to have had a dialogue with the government (under former Governor Matawalle) but never actually repented. I know where they live here in Sokoto. I gave this information to security operatives, and they apprehended him. During the arrest, they recovered an AK-47 rifle.

“I also provided intelligence that led to an operation in which one of his relatives was killed. Since then, Bashar Mania and his brother Buhari have vowed to kill me. They even reported me to the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle.

“Now, they’re after me. They’ve tracked and frozen my bank account. They also sent secret police—who don’t report to the Sokoto State Government or its security outfit—to arrest me, just because I exposed them. My life is at risk,” said Aminu Muhammad Kamarawa.
