Today, we launched the Cost of Ageing Calculator: a first-of-its-kind free, interactive online tool that provides evidence-based estimates of the true costs of ageing in Canada, including housing, care needs, transportation, food and everyday living expenses.
Developed under the academic leadership of Dr. Bonnie-Jeanne MacDonald and Senior Researcher He Chen, the calculator shows how costs can vary by region, health status, living arrangements and care needs across modest, moderate and comfortable retirement living standards.
