Remember today next year when you hear “nobody wants to see G5 schools because the games won’t be close.”
Two consensus T10 teams were bludgeoned 63-3 today. Blowouts like this happen ALL the time, normally including P4 schools getting waxed.
Not a reason to exclude schools.
@CurryHicksSage Here’s a list of deserving G5 coaches no one’s talking about
Jeff Traylor (UTSA) – turned a 7-win mess into a 46-20 AAC contender.
Alex Golesh (USF) – took 1-11 Bulls to a bowl win in Year 1.
G.J. Kinne (Texas State) won the program’s first bowl game

@grantpaulsen Hard to argue against Cignetti — he wins everywhere he goes. But I’ve gotta give some love to Lane Kiffin. Feels like he’s getting better every year, and by the time he’s done, he’ll have a couple championships under his belt.
@CurryHicksSage VT has two great options: Jon Sumrall, who’s young, proven, and already building winners at Troy & Tulane. Or Jon Gruden—an NFL name with a redemption arc that would light up Blacksburg. Imagine him squaring off vs Belichick in the ACC.
