Finding a winning crypto investment is only half the battle. Knowing when to take profits matters just as much.

Markets change, and even strong investments can turn into losses without disciplined risk management.

David Doss, an associate at NMT, explains why actively managing a crypto portfolio requires knowing when to enter, adjust, and exit a strategy.

Polymarket was fined by US regulators in 2022. Now it's making its way back into the American market.

This sequence of events says a lot about how crypto is changing finance.

Prediction markets attracted demand even when regulatory restrictions limited where and how they could operate. Now, platforms like Polymarket and Kalshi are part of a much bigger conversation about what financial services regulators are willing to allow.

Our CEO @frank_hep believes there's an important lesson here about the relationship between blockchain technology, market demand and regulation, and it goes well beyond prediction markets.

Your crypto wealth manager should never need the keys to your crypto.

At New Market Trading, clients retain custody while we manage investments through specific, revocable onchain permissions, without the ability to withdraw funds.

Our CEO @frank_hep spoke with CoinGabbar about this model, the challenges of managing capital in DeFi, and the future of onchain wealth management.

A sitting US president launching a memecoin was always going to have implications beyond the token itself.

@frank_hep looks at $TRUMP and $MELANIA through the bigger question: what did they actually do for crypto’s credibility?

Jonathan's first experience with DeFi lending came during a bear market.

He was looking for ways to keep his crypto productive while prices were down, and found an opportunity through the Radiant protocol.

At New Market Trading, we focus on helping investors make productive use of their crypto holdings through actively managed onchain strategies.

Trump's biggest political gamble could become a serious setback for crypto.

Our CEO @frank_hep believes a third-term attempt could have consequences that many crypto investors aren't considering.

And with the US midterms approaching, the stakes extend well beyond who wins the next election.

In his latest discussion, Frank examines how the political landscape could reshape crypto's future and what investors should be watching as the current administration's term progresses.

“I've been in crypto for 10 years, and I'm the first person to say: don't put all your money into crypto.”

At NMT, we believe how much you invest matters just as much as what you invest in.

You want enough exposure for potential gains to make a difference, without putting so much at risk that every downturn becomes a financial emergency.

For investors who've lived through multiple crypto cycles, finding that balance can change how they approach the market.

In the full conversation, we discuss how we help clients manage their crypto holdings and put part of their portfolio to work onchain.

At New Market Trading, we're watching what this period of regulatory openness produces.

The protocols gaining users and attracting capital today could shape the investment opportunities available long after the current administration leaves office.

For long-term investors, understanding the services behind crypto assets matters as much as anticipating the next election or market cycle.

Crypto has until 2029 to build something the next US administration can't easily shut down.

The current administration has given crypto businesses more room to operate. But a future government could reverse many of those decisions, particularly if legislation like the CLARITY Act doesn't pass.

We've seen what happens when regulation turns hostile. Developers move offshore, projects take longer to reach the market, and investors lose access to emerging opportunities.

Our CEO @frank_hep believes the industry needs to make the most of this window by building services people genuinely want to use. 🧵👇🏻

Hyperliquid offers a glimpse of why that matters.

Demand for 24/7 trading is already putting pressure on traditional financial markets to extend their operating hours.

When a service attracts enough users, restricting it becomes a harder decision for policymakers.

In his latest YouTube video, Frank examines what the US midterms could mean for crypto investors, how much progress a future administration could undo, and why some recent regulatory wins deserve closer scrutiny.

He also discusses the risks facing self-custody investors and how he approaches political uncertainty when managing crypto portfolios.

At NMT, clients retain custody of their crypto while granting specific, revocable permissions to manage portfolios onchain.

It's a principle that matters as AI takes on more financial tasks: authority over capital needs clear limits.

An AI agent transfers company funds without authorization.

The transaction is already executed. Who had the power to prevent it?

Our CEO @frank_hep raised a fundamental issue in Inc.'s coverage of agentic finance:

“Whose money? What is the money being used for?” 🧵👇🏻

[New Market Trading @EnterNMT]

The answers determine what an AI agent should be allowed to do.

Without clear permissions and transaction limits, a poorly designed instruction could lead to costly mistakes.

Permissions need to be enforceable. Transaction limits need to mean something, even when the system behaves unexpectedly.

At NMT, these shifts inform how we manage crypto portfolios onchain.

We focus on disciplined allocation, evaluating yield opportunities and adjusting exposure as conditions evolve.

When even major banks struggle to forecast outcomes, managing risk becomes essential.

Even J.P. Morgan is struggling to predict where oil prices are heading.

In its September 17 report, the bank admitted:

“For the first time since the start of the Iran conflict, we don’t have a baseline view.”

Here's why crypto investors should pay attention. 🧵

[New Market Trading @EnterNMT]

Higher energy costs can keep inflation elevated, making it harder for the Fed to ease rates.

Higher yields can also shift institutional capital away from risk assets.

For crypto, that means changing liquidity conditions, investor appetite and portfolio exposure.
