@sterlingvermin I think the time prep was something like 1 hour total for all of your daily spells from your own book. Then 1 hour per spell level if you're prepping from not your book.
@sterlingvermin This might have been a homebrew or maybe from an old sourcebook, but when studying another spellbook, you prep the spell in your head and then have to write it down. Essentially casting it into your book. So yes, you can prep from another book. Just much more time consuming.
@Thymbraeus I would treat the baddie as a PC, as in unconscious and slowly dying, and give the connected PC the opportunity to deliver the coup de gras if they choose to.
@SpicyEncounters Trap (Broken?)
DC 12 to spot the pressure plates on the floor. If activated, the heroes hear a loud grinding noise but nothing else happens. DC 17 to find the secret access panel to the trap, where a well made (possibly magical) dagger has been jammed in to disable the trap.
@WillSloanEsq Closest thing I could find was an anthology from the mid 80's called CBS Storybreak. The animation in this episode seems so similar: https://t.co/UKwydQdR0x
Did Canada have an anthology series that was equivalent to this?
