We recently gathered at Pitch Pizzeria for head and neck journal club, bringing residents and colleagues together for great food, meaningful discussion and time to connect outside of work.
Our team loved introducing Benson High students to the field of ENT!
Students learned trach basics and got an up-close look at the larynx and voicing with flexible laryngoscope demonstrations led by our residents.

Professor and chairman, UNMC Department of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Jones currently practices all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology at both @NebraskaMed and @ChildrensNE. He trains otolaryngology residents and medical students.
Tracheostomy Simulation in the Windy City
PGY-3 resident Tony Satroplus recently attended the American College of Surgeons meeting. At the conference, he presented a project on tracheostomy simulation training for pre-clinical medical students. #UNMCENT
Our annual Airway Course hosted by our Pediatrics and Laryngology faculty was a success. A great opportunity to advance our airway skills in a simulated environment at iExcel. #UNMCENT
