@imanumusic I mean yeah feel free to keep shitting on this country while you’re here if that makes u feel better, but a lot of us are pretty sensitive about our service workers. You can hate tipping culture without singling people out lol
@kumarionmusic@varien I would say this is the most productive thing that has happened to the scene in a while. Exposing this cliquey culture is long overdue. I understand why you think it’s not productive for you and your project though.
@eprombeats @NotLoBassMusic @Duke_blazer @chucksta666 Love how you responded with this, had 20 people refute, and then crickets lol. Now it’s being used as a defense despite it totally missing the mark. Very cool Eprom!
@eprombeats@Duke_blazer @chucksta666 I think the psd comparison is more fitting for a producer that buys a project template and releases that; something I see little to no pushback on. Which is fine because that’s it’s intended use.
@eprombeats@Duke_blazer @chucksta666 I don’t think anyone is angry about the use of sample packs here. The issue is passing off sample pack demos as your own music. PSD files from template websites are meant to be used and I’m not sure the same thing applies for sample pack demos
@NotLoBassMusic Seems a little disingenuous to imply that this is all about using samples and loops. More to do with you releasing carbon copies of sample pack demos. But w/e at least you pulled the music. I wish you the best of luck going forward
@brd_th_spc_crft Hey i’m all for that. And after reading your tweet there’s a chance she’s gaslighting you. So I don’t blame you for defending. I had a visceral reaction because I know many people grinding for similar opportunities. Some quit because they see shit like this and become demoralized
