If you must know, I was going to a chemist with my daughter-in-law, to get some medicine for her unwell husband….my son. Hatred is a dreadful weakness.
It’s mean - It cleans and it's on the streets of Cork.

Witnesses reported seeing the lift, carrying four men, travelling all over the town centre before it was stopped by Gardai.
No injuries reported

Congratulations to a representative group of our #Volunteers who attended a Medal Presentation Ceremony @UCC, #Cork this afternoon.
Each volunteer was presented with a medal to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of @CivilDefenceIRL.
A brief tiny memory about Manchán Magan, who passed away yesterday.
I guested on a series he did 20 years ago, and he noted that I had dropped the “fada” (the accent/diacritic) over the O in my name, which I had replaced with a capital O, just for ease of understanding in the UK. “Put it back” he said, “It should be there, proudly”
And ever since, yes, the fada has been back on the O on every poster and tour. Here it is, outside the Swansea Arena last night. That’s Manchán’s doing.
Most Cork City traffic lights now restored after a network outage. Council prioritised major junctions, but caution is still advised on approach. https://t.co/NFGX6dhUCq
Our Senior team proudly acknowledged the importance of representing not only their county but also their clubs. Tonight’s training session at MTU saw the players take to the field in their club gear, a fitting reminder of the roots that shaped their journey.
Worked my last shift for @irishexaminer today after 25 years on the paper.
Thanks to my brilliant colleagues & to all who trusted me to tell their story.
Been a privilege to contribute in a small to the paper’s legacy of impactful journalism.
New chapter starts in Sept #Cork
