Following the Hamas terrorist attack, at @DSG_GTTAC we reviewed our dataset, the GRID, to look at the recent trends in terrorism in the region. We observe a significant uptick in in activity in 2023, which only includes records up to early September.

Additionally, we have seen an increase in incidents from unaffiliated lone actors, recorded as "INDIVIDUAL" in the GRID. These numbers are important to monitor as they tend to be a manifestation of radicalizing trends.
