We are a group of family activists whose loved ones lost their lives at the hands of those tasked with their care. Our mission is to stamp out the abuse of the 'end of life' protocols that led to their premature deaths. Join us and help us #StopMedicalEuthanasia#AllLivesMatter
**“The Lords were simply doing their job—properly scrutinising a bill that was rushed onto MPs with no pre-legislative scrutiny.”** @Meg_HillierMP
There is a serious chance the assisted death Bill will be resurrected this week.
This woman, a former Labour voter, immediately identifies how pressure can be applied into an assisted death:
PMB debate: John Lamont summarises what many think: the process in the Commons re Assisted Dying Bill was utterly flawed from start to finish, and the Lords ended up with too much to do. With some MPs even expecting the Lords to make the Bill safe. But that should have happened at Commons stage. Instead, many safety amendments there were voted down
“Things are not as altruistic as some would have us believe” - spot on, in defence of The House of Lord scrutiny of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill - thank you @JimAllister
❌MPs are repeating a fiction this afternoon, claiming a few Peers blocked the assisted suicide Bill. Nearly 150 Peers actively opposed it, including leading medical, disability & legal experts. Having paid little attention to Lords' scrutiny, they've bought into a myth.

“Those who backed Ms Leadbeater's original Bill could use the Parliament Act to bypass the Lords if they can get another MP to take it through the Commons again. Yet this would be in the face of voters' opposition… [A new mega-poll] showed a majority in every single British constituency do not want their MP to support a law pushed through Parliament without full scrutiny by both Houses.”

I know many constituents are concerned by reports that the Assisted Dying Bill could return to Parliament.
My position remains unchanged.
My full statement is below 👇🏿
Now that is quite remarkable! Simon Opher MP today says the Leadbeater Bill is 'excellent' but in September told the BMJ that key questions still needed to be resolved. Falconer said similar but then tabled 77 amendments.
❗@JimAllister questions whether some of those Members of Parliament campaigning so vociferously against the House of Lords for its scrutiny of the assisted suicide Bill would be doing so if Peers were "blocking" legislation that they didn't like.
It was great to support everyone down in Rochester to make the message loud and clear that disabled people do not want to return of the failed assisted suicide bill with @OtherHalfOrg
