It's finally happening folks! The Washington NFL team, like the Cleveland MLB team, will finally have a new mascot.

EONM launched #NotYourMascot in January 2014 during the Super Bowl and now, in January 2022 –8 years later it's a reality. #NoMoreStereotypes

@Stacy_Nguyen_ The victory is for my parents' generation, too. All those 20K plus Natives who came to Cleveland in the 1950s-70s on the federal Indian Relocation program and started this demand for change. I am their child.

What to make of this?

The owners of the @Chiefs have lost their minds to think this makes mascotting our culture okay.

The team is named for a WHITE former City Mayor whose nickname was the "Chief." Can they just mascot HIM already?
