One Scripture that’s been calming me lately is when Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
Honestly, life will try to make you panic bills, stress, bad news, delays, relationship problems, uncertainty about the future. If you focus too hard on everything around you, you’ll feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders. This Scripture reminded me of something powerful: God never said there would be no problems. He said He has already overcome the world. That means whatever you’re facing right now is not bigger than Him, not harder than Him, and not outside His power.
Some of us are exhausting ourselves by mentally fighting battles that have already been handled spiritually. Panicking won’t add peace. Overthinking won’t create control. Fear won’t change the outcome. Sometimes faith looks like calming down and remembering who already overcame it all. So keep praying, keep moving forward, and keep handling your responsibilities. But stop carrying the spirit of defeat like the ending hasn’t already been written.
You are not fighting for victory you’re moving from it.
I urge you to study Ezekiel 37:1-14. You will understand the importance of speaking into your life. You can literally recreate your future with the words you speak, especially when you declare the Word of God over any circumstances.
I charge you to start speaking to your finances, your marriage, your job, and declare your expectations over all that concerns you. Watch what will happen!
I fell in love with this scripture:
“There will come a time when your tears will fall, not because of your troubles, but because God has answered your prayers.”

Dear Lord,
Today, I’ve been strong so long I don’t even know how to ask for the right kind of help. People see me holding it together, they don’t see what it takes to be me mentally. Guard my mind from breaking in isolation. Send the right people—not just anybody, the ones who don’t switch up. Don’t let what I carry start changing who I am. In Jesus’ name, Amen🙏🏽
Dylan Cardwell is a national treasure. While I'm in the middle of my report, Cardwell comes over and interjects some wisdom.
"At the end of the day, what the Lord has for you is greater than anything you can imagine for yourself...I'm living the dream." - Cardwell
Nickeil Alexander-Walker on when he realized SGA was special growing up:
“The thing with him that stood out to me, he didn’t get emotional with the game. He was very consistent in like ‘bro I know I’m gonna make it no matter how bad it is right now.’ He just stuck to his work. He would watch film of like Steph or Kyrie and the next day implementing it in our workouts… For me I was frustrated with the game. I used to get so mad… But he never wavered. That’s why now to this day people see the calm and the aura that they talk about. He’s been that way his entire upbringing of basketball. He just had faith in it and whatever happened, did it suck to him? Yeah but he had so much emotional control that it never wavered”
