@ClipStudioPaint alt+dragging to move a new duplicated layer, then painting or erasing, then undoing, causes a square that contained the stroke to be erased.

I prefer to name variables a combination of 1's, lower case L's, and pipe symbols, so variables look like barcodes and can be scanned with a phone for convenient documentation.
