Chase Walker and Johnny Kinziger are RETURNING to Illinois State for their senior seasons. The Redbirds won the CBI two years ago and made it to the NIT semis this year.
Walker and Kinziger are program legends in Normal. In this year, it’s more and more rare for players to stay four years at one school and these two started and will finish at Illinois State.
The NCAA is exploring a significant change to its eligibility rule, sources tell @YahooSports. The proposal creates an age-based standard: Athletes would have 5 years of eligibility from their 19th birthday or HS graduation.
No redshirts or waivers.

Pretty fitting that Cadeau wins MOP. He was a big reason for the skepticism surrounding Michigan's backcourt heading into the year. They wouldn't be here without him
SLU is the only team Michigan has played in the NCAA Tournament that was closer than 10 points with 12 minutes remaining:
SLU down 7
Alabama down 10
Howard down 18
Arizona down 27
Tennessee down 29
UConn has won 19 straight games in the Sweet 16 or later.
That's the longest such streak by any team since the NCAA Tournament expanded to 32 teams in 1975.
Having a hard time putting into words tonight’s games. Michigan was unbelievably good despite a hampered Yaxel. They dominated an elite team for 40 minutes. That team vs. the Hurley black magic has so much potential on Monday night. Or Michigan wins by 30. I have no idea.
