These guys played 2 really close games at the Sectional against host De La Salle & TFS, but got landslide victories against Richards & Morgan Park to qualify for state in Peoria ♟️

BIG match against Argo and came out 1-1. Most games ♟️ were so close, the #EPcheckmaters 🐎 were really happy to have taken a W from one of the better chess teams over the years.

The EP ♟️ Checkmaters are back to State, making it 3 out of the last 4 years. The team had great play from ALL and hopes to continue it in Peoria on Feb 14 & 15.
