Last night we were out in the village on covert patrols. Plain clothes in an unmarked vehicle with the aim of catching up with those involved in recent #Asb issues in #Windermere and #Burnham road. We will be doing this a lot more over the weekend and into next week

Essex Police are now in a position to release the identity of a woman who died in #Hullbridge on Sunday.

Janet Lewis, 76, was found dead at an address in Padgetts Way.

An 80 year-old man's been arrested on suspicion of murder.

2/3This was the 2nd operation in 3months, and again another 7 people were arrested for various offences such as PWITS,drug drive,warrants and a GBH with intent,poss of off wep and burglary.

6 TOR’s issued for excess speed on #LowerRoad today. 2 intel reports submitted and time for bed as soon as I’ve returned my vehicle to @EPRoadsPolicing SWF base!

So far,on #LowerRoad 3 people reported for excess speed in a #30mph limit. Education is key and I don’t think we will have repeated offenders this time. Speed kills, slow down #yousaidwedid

Last night I crewed with @EPDogSection #PDCarter & handler,a 🚗 involved in several burglaries in #Benfleet #Fobbing and #Grays was found by us in #SthOckendon. 🚗 tried to flee,and was stopped. 4 decamped and 2 arrested,1 detained by 🐕.Veh stolen in burglary from @kent_police

Met up with @ChiefInspMiles, the new district commander for our area and spoke all about #Hullbridge last night.He’s new in post and very supportive of @EssexSpecials. Once settled in, May invite him out for a patrol to see the role of the #CSC and meet some of the residents.

Out on patrol since 2200 I’m the village after a weeks annual leave. Visiting areas of #ASB reports received direct from the parish Council. Few vehicle stops so far. On until around 5am.

Male arrested last night after the follow out the village has a bit to answer for. Gave false details, identified by fingerprints as wanted for 2 thefts from 2018, one of those for a fraud of £65k for building work not completed. Investigation held by @CityPoliceCops @EssexPoint
