SB1411 will be heard by the Arizona Senate on Thursday, March 16. It deems that a parent who is the primary caregiver of a minor child receiving services for developmental disabilities automatically and immediately becomes the guardian of that child on their 18th birthday.

Disabled people face continued barriers when trying to live, work, and be a part of the community. This bill adds yet another barrier. Currently, more than 20 disability organizations and over 250 constituents have spoken out against SB 1411.

Save the date for EPIC’s inaugural golf tournament on Friday, September 8th, 2023. Tournament check-in will begin at 6:45 am at The Legacy Golf Club in Phoenix, AZ. Registration details will be posted by April 3rd, 2023. Sponsorship opportunities are also to come.
