The children enjoyed Rainbow Day yesterday. It was fantastic to see the children from across the year groups working together to explore a range of activities.
In Climate Club, Year 5 have done some great work finding out about the impacts of climate change on the worlds ecosystems. From land to ocean and from tropics to poles the climate is affecting our world and our wildlife.
Year 5 had a great day last Thursday when they visited Dawlish Warren. They were there to undertake various tasks linked to their geography topic - Should we let Dawlish Warren be washed away?
In maths today, the children in Reception made foil boats and compared the amount of bears and marbles they could hold. They used the words more and fewer when comparing them.
After their trip to Haldon Forest yesterday, Year 1 drew their route. This activity is part of their Geography work. We love the detail they have included.
Year 6 completed their fieldwork activities this morning. We are asking: Exminster, grow or be left alone? We are exploring views about the growth of Exminster. We made observations, notes and sketches.Thank you to those people who waved or honked their horns at us!
A huge well done for the engagement and enjoyment shown by our children yesterday at our Rec, Y1 and Y2 Sports' morning. The weather was kind to us and the adults managed a great Mexican wave....after a couple of practises!
In PSHE, Year 6 have been thinking about how to become more independent and ways to manage their transition to secondary school .We ranked and discussed some ideas and also came up with some of our own.
