Autism was always a broad diagnosis, they recently added what used to be called Aspergers, but that would only account for a small percentage of total autism. There's no medical test for autism, it's diagnosed by the set of behavioral symptoms present. If you can imagine the total numbers doubled, that would be more in line with what you are thinking, although probably still exaggerated. The actual numbers have skyrocketed way, way past that.

actually I never saw X-Men Phoenix and I'm not sure I ever saw Wolverine Project origins. So I can't say I relate to whatever point you're making. My sole point is that this movie sucked! I just wanted to put a different opinion out there before others waste two hours they'll never get back.

That's a straw man fallacy - misrepresenting the actual argument... attacking the distorted version, and claiming victory over a point never made. But I forget what the last logical fallacy is... @grok which logical fallacy is being used when a person says "if you don't like it, you don't love America"?
