thinking in visuals • creating @freedznft 🟥

[Epik 🟥 @EpikNFT]

I’ve been working on @freedznft for the past few months with @seizzi and honestly so stoked to finally see it come alive.

It started with something I just couldn’t stop thinking about...

Funny how something built to give us more utility can slowly start drawing the boundaries for us. What we see, what we share, what stays private...

Every FREEDZ starts with a word chosen by a real person. Your word becomes part of the artwork, and somehow part of this bigger story we’re building together.

We’ve been playing around with some pretty interesting mechanics around words, identity and participation too. Keeping a few things secret for now.

A lot more coming very soon. Site goes live this week with more info, lore and some of the parts we’ve been quietly building.

I invite you frenz to join @freedznft 🟥

Humans are obeying.

How I Made FREEDZ 🟥

Concept & sketches first.
Handcrafted hundreds of traits.
Built a custom generation tool to create 8,888 unique FREEDZ.
Fine tuned both still & animated versions.

Word by word
Letter by letter
A pure illusion of typography

How FREEDZ Was Made

FREEDZ started with hundreds of handcrafted traits and character designs, created by @EpikNFT using Procreate, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Once we established the visual language, we built a custom generation tool to combine these assets into 8,888 unique pieces.

But we wanted FREEDZ to mean more than what you see.

We chose typography as our core artistic language because, in a world increasingly shaped by machines, our words remain among the most powerful things we give them.

While every FREEDZ NFT features still artwork, we've also created an animated version of every single piece. Holders will have the right to obtain animated versions of the NFTs they own.

In the end, you see characters.
But there are no characters.

An illusion made entirely of letters and words.
Just like freedom. 🟥
