e200X PT-01 is here. 🚀
There is a definitive moment when an aerospace program shifts from sub-scale into a 2.2-ton full scale reality. For us, that moment is now.
This aircraft is the culmination of half a decade of uncompromising engineering. We didn't just jump straight into a full-scale build. We spent the last five years proving our architecture in the sky pushing our sub scale demonstrators like the ATVA in 2021 and the heavy-lift e50 in 2023 to the limit.
Across those platforms, we logged over 10,000 kilometre of real-world flight testing. 🧵 (1/2)
In his keynote at #DES’26, Professor Satya Chakravarthy, The ePlane Company, explored how deep-tech engineering can transform mobility by enabling compact, adaptable aircraft and new possibilities for urban transportation.
Key highlights from the session:
* Compact aircraft design can enable eVTOLs to operate in space-constrained urban environments
* Innovative aerodynamics can help balance flight performance with compact form factors
* eVTOL platforms can support applications ranging from passenger mobility to air ambulances
* Continued engineering innovation can help make aerial mobility more accessible and scalable
The session highlighted how bold engineering and deep-tech innovation can redefine the possibilities of mobility.

I usually let the work speak for itself, but the last few months at @ePlaneCompany demand a pause.
From rolling out the GTV Hangar to signing the e200X-PT01 fuselage, the response has been unreal; millions of views, investors saying "mindblown", and unmatched internal energy. 🧵
India's first electric air-taxi prototype, @ePlaneCompany's e200X, will fly with a full @HENSOLDT avionics suite: navigation, situational awareness, secure data link, flight data recording. Next up: ground tests and DGCA type certification. https://t.co/Kmfa2bXnXY #eVTOL#AAM
"The day you stop asking whether it's possible and start asking how... that's the day the work actually begins."
3 aircrafts. 1 hangar. Zero playbooks.
No one in India had walked this road before us. Just a problem worth solving, a team willing to do the work, and the quiet decision to keep going.
• ATVA (2021): Small, unassuming, but our first real proof that this wasn't just math on paper.
• e50 (2023): Scaling up the physics to 50kg and finding our rhythm in the sky.
• e200X (2026): 7 years of R&D, 10,000+ km of test flights, and a 2.2-ton full-scale electric aircraft built by hand.
PT-01 is the answer to every doubt along the way. We could. We did.
This isn't where the story ends. This is where it gets interesting. ⚡
True technological sovereignty in action. 🇮🇳
Grateful to Hon. Minister @RamMNK for setting a bold trajectory for civil aviation. Supported by proactive regulatory pathways from @MoCA_GoI and @DGCAIndia , India's pioneer 2.2-ton electric flying taxi & ambulance, the e200X is ready to lead the global shift to zero-emission urban transport.

India is preparing for the next chapter of mobility.
Under PM Shri @narendramodi Ji’s leadership, we are embracing eVTOLs to make urban travel faster and more sustainable, while opening up new possibilities for how we move.
Technological sovereignty isn't given. It's forged in carbon fiber. 🇮🇳
Every signature on the e200X-PT01 airframe carries one core conviction: the future of flight doesn't just belong on Indian soil, it must originate here.
From the research labs of @iitmadras to our 60,000+ sq ft manufacturing hub, this 2.2-ton aircraft is 5 years of relentless execution:
🔹 10,000+ km of subscale flight testing logged
🔹 1st DGCA Design Organisation Approval for electric aircraft (May '23)
🔹 DGCA Type Certification application officially accepted (Dec '24)
🔹 2,200 kg full carbon-fiber composite airframe
🔹 Active ground testing underway in our GTV Hangar
We aren't watching the skies change. We're building the wings taking us there.
Happy 80th Independence Day! 🎆✈️

We discussed the raw reality of building deep-tech hardware in India, and how our compact 8x11m design scales using existing helipads without needing massive new infrastructure.
Thank you for your sharp insights and backing, @sanjeevsanyal Sir!

It’s one thing to talk about the future of India's urban mobility. It’s another to stand right next to it.
Honored to host Shri @sanjeevsanyal (Member, EAC-PM) at our facility. His visit deeply validates our physics-first solution to urban congestion. (1/2)

Whatever it takes. ⚡
From Coal India to EV startups, to building the 800V powertrain for India’s first electric flying taxi.
In automotive, you pull over. In aerospace, failure is absolute zero. 5 years of waging a war on weight and heat is finally physical reality.
