The Village will host a Styrofoam Recycling Event at the Gurnee Public Works Facility, 1151 Kilbourne Rd. Accepted: clean, dry, #6 labeled polystyrene products. Not accepted: packing peanuts.

Residents can now recycle electronics, Styrofoam, batteries, food scraps, motor oil, and more year-round.

Clean house for Zero Waste Day on April 25
Clean house responsibly with a free, drive-thru recycling event. Tempe’s next Zero Waste Day is Saturday, April 25 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kiwanis Park, 6111 S. All-America Way.
Styrofoam chunks, electronics, appliances, household hazardous waste, paper for shredding and pet food/supplies are among the many items accepted at this event. All accepted items are recycled, repurposed or donated for reuse. This event is free to Tempe and Guadalupe residents.
