Last week EPTF attend an annual capacity-building workshop for CMA's partners for the Africa Learning Journey 2024. This year, the topic of interest was Knowledge Management. The workshop focused on, creating a knowledge management culture, knowledge harvesting and sharing.

2 October 2023 : Ongoing training on Farmer Field Schools Approach, agro- ecologial analysis and nursery bed management for a group of young people in Kapkures area,Moiben. Nurseries prepared earlier have already germinated.
The degradation of the Mangrove forests in the Mombasa coastline and the resulting impact on the mangrove ecosystem and the environment inspired members of the community in Bangladesh Village, Mikindani ward to join hands and establish Tulinde Mikoko Self Help Group.

Due to her passion and commitment to the economic empowerment and the artisan skills trainings, she was selected as one of the participants who would receive seed capital for her baking business.

Many of the participants have shown significant improvement and growth in their enterprises with some starting businesses while others have expanded to include artisan training alongside their businesses.
On 24th April 2023 together with our partners from Assist Denmark we visited the Migori Micro Enterprise Development support project participants. The participants have been trained on entrepreneurship and table banking.
