Put the finishing touches on an amazing year tonight at our awards ceremony! We honored our 8 irreplaceable seniors who helped bring home our first MSC Title in 31 years, talked to the younger levels about taking the next step & got school board recognition at the meeting tonight

Reminder to all golf team members: tonight at 6:00pm is our postseason Golf Awards Night in the cafeteria. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend! We will have food/drinks. At 7:00pm, the varsity team will be recognized for the MSC title at the school board meeting!

The @EPTigersGolf season ended this week as seniors Joe LaBarbera & Matt Smith and freshman Sam LaBarbera competed in the IHSA Class 2A St. Viator sectional. Joe, a 3-time sectional qualifier, shot a 78, missing the state cut by just 1 stroke. Matt shot 83 & Sam 95.

And Senior captain Joe LaBarbera, our #1 golfer for the past 2 years, shot a 78 and missed the state qualifying cut by 1 stroke. These fantastic young men were an honor to coach and left their irreplaceable mark on the program w/MSC Red Title. @EPHSathletics

Extremely bittersweet today as the Tigers golf season ended at the IHSA 2A Sectionals at Old Orchard CC. Unbelievably proud of our 3 participants: Sammy LaBarbera qualified as a freshman and shot 95; Sr. Matt Smith, one of our captains & our most improved player, gutted out an 83

Congratulations to our girls golfers for competing in the IHSA 1A Regionals yesterday at Bliss Creek Golf Course. Senior Claire Skelly wrapped up her EP Golf career with a 122, and Sophomore Olivia Vitacco shot a 123. Proud of all our girls on a successful season! @EPHSathletics

Great day at IHSA Benet 2A Regionals with a 5th place team score of 339. Individually, Sr. Joe LaBarbera shot 77 (+5) to earn 5th place overall medal. Joe, along w/Sr. Matt Smith: 85 (+13) & Fr. Sammy LaBarbera: 86 (+14) advance to sectionals as top-10 qualifiers! @EPHSathletics

Joe LaBarbera tallied 25 total points throughout the season and conference tournament to be named MSC Red Division Conference MVP for the 2nd straight year! Matt Smith finished 5th in the standings and Sammy LaBarbera was 9th! So proud of the entire group—on to regionals!

Mission accomplished! Tigers claim the 2022 MSC Red Division championship with 346-355 victory vs. St. Ed’s to win the conference 19-18 points!! Tigers were led by Sr Matt Smith: 82 (+10); Sr Joe LaBarbera: 83 (+11); Fr Sammy LaBarbera: 86 (+14); & Sr Tommy Eikosidekas: 95 (+23)
