@mikeahuja@ABC7 It doesn’t say they have to be free, only that they’re available. Some manufacturers refuse to sell proprietary parts or the special tools needed for repairs as a way of cornering the market.
Altogether, SCOTUS granted certiorari in 7 cases this morning. They did not grant the petitions brought by the challengers to the Tennessee and Kentucky laws, which also raised a parental rights due process claim.
