Today was tough. Vet came out for a tendon injury recheck. In good news, the tendon is healed. In other news, my horse just spent $2600. 😭😵‍💫

Would love any and all experiences regarding EPM treatment. Mild neurological deficits upon exam. Starting on compounded Ponazuril when it arrives and waiting on titer

@jmpaquette I am also in the same spot with that so definitely hoping the meds can help! The vet told me he is still in workable shape, which is great news. But the whole thing just has me nervous

@jmpaquette I will definitely have to check out rebalance! You’re the second or third person to mention it. Louie doesn’t have any obvious symptoms either. The exam was very mildly positive but he has had some behavior changes. Spooking, nervousness etc that just isn’t him!

@Ashley_ottb I’m planning on 30 days of the Ponazuril so far. Plus he’s on 8000 IU of vitamin E at the moment and will stay on that. I’m so anxious about it and just hoping he recovers :( it’s not crazy bad symptoms so far but still

@oopsanotherpony That’s fair! I will definitely be treating regardless of the titer. But just didn’t know if people typically see success with the powder or if they have to go the Marquis route and spend a million dollars lol
