On international #pronounsday *read this excellent thread* to learn more about how to correctly use pronouns [and what to do when you mess up occasionally, as we all do eventually]. Pronouns matter for #genderequity.
It's the first ever International #PronounsDay! I'm so excited and I want you to be excited, too.
Here are a few things to know about pronouns:
1. Many #trans people, myself included, HAVE to out ourselves & tell people our pronouns, if we want others to gender us correctly.
2017: Republicans ram through a massive tax cut for the richest & put it on the US credit card.
2018: GOP sees credit card bill, acts shocked, & now says we must cut Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid for workers and families (the non-richest).
Hey @senatorfain. I just want you to know: It’s been a difficult to relive this, yes. But it’s been difficult for 11 years. And nothing was more difficult than that night. What would make it less difficult now: You engaging in honest conversation. https://t.co/IWwGk3gTQq
The Classic is back! On December 1st, please join HERE Seattle as we celebrate another fantastic year of with our community. We are excited to close out 2018 with you at the best holiday soirée in the Seattle tech scene. https://t.co/afjvmsKOJn
I am thoroughly disgusted with the @seattletimes continued endorsement of @senatorfain. The article makes it clear the board values "the life of the accused, his family and friends" over the life, family & friends of Candace Faber, the person he raped.

"Indigenous people are very much a part of today’s society. With their stories, Indigenous writers share the range of their lives, past and present, and we hope that you’ll embrace and share their stories." https://t.co/dVE40vdDnx
Yesterday was #IndigenousPeoplesDay2018 & I didn't post anything because I found it overwhelmingly hard to sum up how I feel about all the work we still need to do to heal the effects of colonialism & genocide. It's something I am still [& will always be] learning about.
Trending rights tweets this week: Good news from California; SOS message from a Mediterranean rescue ship; HRW opposes Bret Kavanaugh's nomination; and the Nobel Peace Prize goes to fighters against sexual violence https://t.co/oJFuaLvHM9
This hurts. But even the fights we lose matter. Every time you called, and marched, and tweeted, you helped move us closer. And it was so close.
It’s ok to step back for a minute and take a breath. But you cannot give up. We still need you in this.
If @Sen_JoeManchin continues to support #Kavanaugh, he's willfully ignoring behavior that continues to demonstrate K is unfit to serve.
"Brett lied to the Senate by stating, under oath, that he never drank to the point of forgetting what he was doing"
