Our @Equity4GND members and all at @EquityUK send solidarity to @sagaftra @actorsequity and all those working in the film, tv and gaming industries who have been affected by the L.A. wildfires.

We were also joined by @EquityUK's Audio Councillor, @DavidJohn1960, who delivered the Council Report. Most people hung around for over an hour afterwards, too - we love the strong social aspect that our branch has! 💜

Never seen so many people taking notes in the audience - clearly a lot of people were very keen to hear how to get into the world of voiceover!

Our Motion that went to Conference in May was passed unanimously.
The Motion asked for @EquityUK to ensure that companies in receipt of public funding meaningfully engage with the union on the use of collective agreements.

We've spent a lot of time visiting variety artists in their workplaces this year with our Branch's 2 Variety Officers and @EquityUK regional staff members pressing the Comedians' Charter & @EquityDrag Networks.

We ran 3 Audition Days this year: for the @NTLive, the @OctagonTheatre in Bolton and @TheDukesTheatre in Lancaster.
There were over 100 audition spots available in total via the lotteries and we received more than 3 times that number in applications!
