As we hail the entrance of new @EquityWomen we say goodbye to our sisters from last term, many of whom chose not to stand this year after decades of service to @EquityUK Chair @Kelly_E_Burke Vice-Chair @JenLGreenwood (mini Matilda!) and fab members @MatthewsAbigail @debratidd_ 🧡
Very proud to be attending @EquityUK conference for the first time representing The West End Deputies Committee and talking about the astonishing #StandUpFor17 campaign with members. Great energy and positivity in the room!
There have also been significant gains for stage management, plus big increases to swing and cover fees which are due to rise by up to 43%; a 21% increase to the relocation allowance; and a commitment to progress trials of the 5-day rehearsal week.
🎉West End WIN!🎉
Equity members in the West End have won an inflation busting increase to minimum rates, which are set to rise by at least 16.7% over the next 24 months.

The way @neill_bob has put the workforce at the heart of his advocacy for @E_N_O is the mark of how well he understands the issue.
A huge thanks to him from @EquityUK

We did a five day rehearsal week, the production was nominated for 5 @OlivierAwards & it won Best New Comedy.
I can’t afford to work on the West End minimums in 2023. That’s why this #WorldTheatreDay, I’m #StandingUpfor17 with @EquityUK
Throughout the Miners’ Strike, @EquityUK & our members organised solidarity and support.

I have been a very proud employee of the BBC, and even prouder member of the BBC Singers for almost 9 years. This decision is utterly devastating. I’m speechless and heartbroken. https://t.co/pYc2J9KzN8
