Wes Streeting’s final shot as he ran out the door
Your NHS data is not going to be safe
You will have NO option to OPT OUT of data sharing
GPs have seen this coming & will stand with their patients
Palantir et al will have access & Government controls
https://t.co/qVaLntYIFx
YOU are the problem @wesstreeting not the BMA
Worked within the NHS for 36yrs, you were a juvenile (6) when I stated
Name calling might have worked for student union politics
But we need adult negotiators in the room @acasorguk for all our sakes, patient care & the future #NHS
@MartinSLewis@itvMLshow I think there should be some thought for 16 to 18 year olds, at present the money in Junior ISAs is put into less risky options but I think they should have the choice to put into normal ISAs as most will not use for a few more years. Cash saving options for this age are dire!
@MartinSLewis Disgusted STV did not put your show on at a reasonable time. I thought the Chancellor must have cancelled. We could save a lot of money if we just had one ITV!!
Clearly GPs in NI understand the situation better than politicians do
NI healthcare is failing due to the incompetence of their government
Life expectancy falling & healthy life expectancy worse
They have a point about saving lives @AlanStout19

As a GP, I am not allowed to receive a pen or post-it note pad from a pharmaceutical company rep
Govt banned them in case I was influenced to prescribe medications
This should also be banned
Influence being bought in Govt
Patients should influence not the healthy & wealthy
Fragmenting care costs more+ lower quality care. meantime qualified GPs can't get jobs in practices (complex but increased costs of running practices, underfunding /instability). far better to invest in stable core NHS GP (and read evidence on walk in services!)
GP CRISIS
102,000 hairdressers in England with 40,000 salons
27,000 GPs with 6200 Surgeries
31 million people consult GPs every month & a similar number have haircuts
You can see the problem @wesstreeting@DHSCgovuk
People spend £400pa on hair
GPs receive £169pa per patient
Wes Streeting took £224,575 in donations from people and companies linked to the private health sector between Jan 2023-2025. 🚨🚨🚨
I find that unconscionable. RT if you agree!

@robpain635 Totally agree that "resident" doctors need to be treated differently to new positions with less training. Some doctors were given better deals last year than others and I think the BMA should be shouting louder for those that weren't given real term rises and took pay cuts (GPs)
Big NHS interview on @BBCr4today with @amolrajan and @AmandaPritchard - and it was all hospitals, hospitals, hospitals. Only mention of GP was how hard it was to get an appt. Come on R4 you can do better. Gen practice is the only part of the NHS with year on year zero deficits….
Hey @wesstreeting
I hope this can be taken into consideration when speaking with @doctor_katie and the @BMA_GP team
If you don’t, you have been warned
@RachelReevesMP - you might want to take heed too…
For every £1 spent in #teamgp saves £14 down the healthcare road
