↪️Recently, 2 additional REFINE #ProfilingFloats were deployed from the #MarionDufresne, this time east of the #Kerguelen plateau. This is an oceanic zone were iron limitation is expected to be alleviated. They too have been adopted by classes👋@AdoptaFloat

Yesterday, 2⃣ REFINE #ProfilingFloats have been deployed from the #MarionDufresne🚢 in the iron-limited area, southwest of the #Kerguelen plateau. We are looking forward to discovering the #data obtained by their underwater imagers from the Southern Ocean🤩

🚢Early in the week, the oceanographic vessel #MarionDufresne departed from La Réunion for a new #scientific campaign. A great opportunity to deploy REFINE #ProfilingFloats and explore the Southern Ocean more in depth.

🏝️#IndianOceanExpedition2022: H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco, who is a great supporter of @bgc_argo, boarded #SAAgulhasII off the coast of Aldabra Atoll.

🇸🇨 This float was then adopted by a class @AdoptaFloat from Perseverance secondary school in the #Seychelles: the students had the chance to go on board #SAAgulhasII to sign it & exchange with our team of scientists.
