No moral victories. No second place trophies. No long story about what we “could have” done. I’ll leave it with what we did do: the Falcons fought to the last man tonight. They played for each other. They played for their school.
They played for their mothers, fathers, family, and friends. They played for everyone that’s ever worn a Kelly green helmet. We didn’t get the result we wanted. We’ll work to fix that. But I’m so proud of these seniors and this team. FAMILY now, FAMILY always.
I can’t say enough about this team. Our next man up mentality was on full display tonight. It’s a blessing to coach a team that rises to meet challenges! Falcons don’t flinch!
Big shoutout to @DaydayW_2 for his performance last night. He rushed for 342 yds as LC defeated West Carroll on the road. That’s after two touchdowns of 67 and 43 yds were called back for penalties. Good job, Day Day! Keep working!
Great day @AlabamaFTBL camp! @Jamariu28289632 with a 4.5, @DaydayW_2 slow poke with a 4.6, and @MalachiClay5 with a 4.5. You have speed or you chase it. We got it at LC!
DISTRICT 13A CHAMPS!! Lake Co. defeats South Fulton 10-5 to claim their second strait district title. The Falcons now advance to the regional tournament which begins next Monday at home. Congratulations and GO BIG GREEN!!
Lake county wins the District 13A Championship as @JohnWilson443 & @JamesWilson105 add to a memorable senior year. James had a 2-2 day at the plate with 4 RBI’s. In the first inning he drove in 3 with an opposite field bomb 💣 They will start regional play next Monday.
