We are Alliance High School and we can do some things.
One of them includes turning the Daily Nation into our school magazine.
And we're doing exactly that.
Sunday, March 1st, 2026. A special edition of the Sunday Nation becomes ours.
Now calling all classes:
We need your contributions. Photos that prove your year was untouchable. Stories that'll make the current generation realize they have a standard to maintain. Articles worth the ink.
Send us your photographs, articles, and memories worth printing. This is your shot at immortality.
*Submit to: [email protected]*
*Cc: [email protected]*
*Deadline: 20th February 2026*
Pre-order your copy of this newspaper at https://t.co/BafWfNLS7S, because excellence this rare shouldn't be left to chance.
We've been excellent for a century. Let's make sure the whole nation remembers why.
Incredible discovery at @PlanningssKe ! Our team found the original 1922 drawings for what became Alliance High School, Kikuyu - my alma mater (1991-94)!
Originally designed as "African Medical School Near Kikuyu for the Allied Missions" by Hurle Bath & Cobb. 🧵1/4
The next #AffordableArtShow takes place 24-26 October at Nairobi National Museum.
Come along and see work by about 400 artists.

People like Mosiria reflect everything broken about how Africans view themselves through colonial eyes. Why is it that when an African eats whatever he wants, he’s branded as “uncivilized” and a shame to the race, yet in China and other countries, eating snakes, bats, or dogs is embraced as cultural cuisine and even protected as tradition? Who gave the world the power to decide that African practices are “barbaric” while others are “heritage”? What do you even mean saying, “in the eyes of whites”??
We police ourselves to fit Western respectability, while others boldly define their culture on their own terms. The real shame is not what this man eats to survive, but how quickly fools like Mosiria are ready to condemn our own in order to look acceptable in the eyes of the world.
Ati in the eyes of whites😳😳

I decided to combine my dudus and my data. This is a visual representation of my photographs of flies. The code read through the jpgs and produced this 3D visualization. Music added after the fact.
