Today on Anthony Bourdain’s birthday, let’s honor Tony by sharing a meal…with a friend or with a stranger…and making sure they’re okay. @wckitchen we are honoring him in a way by being next to the people of Venezuela after the earthquakes. Sharing food and hope. #BourdainDay
@PeteThamel "Rembmer that time you tried suing the NFL for breaking a law that doesn't exist...and the NFL is a private organization...and doesn't owe you anything...???"
"A reformed USAGM willing to make difficult decisions and recommit to its core mission will emerge from this crisis more credible to our audiences, not less. America’s voice has been silenced—but we can again be heard and trusted." #SaveVOA

Imagine Trump ever being invited to join a photo like this — not in a million years.
Four presidents. Zero drama. Just smiles, respect, and a shared love of country. 🇺🇸
New CNN has obtained new Trump book by Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan reveals how Trump compared himself to Mao, Stalin, Attila the Hun
— and how a top aide found him with Superglue trying to decorate the Oval Office…. w/ @jeremyherb#Regime

Trump- “one of the things I was very intent on, they (Iran) have water desalination plants, very good ones. I could have knocked them out in five minutes, just like I knocked out Kharg, and I knocked out everything but the oil.”… “because I didn't want to ruin the world market, because they do a lot of money, but I didn't want to do that. No, it would have been so easy. It would have been easier, and I would have satisfied a group of 10% of the people, but it would have been the wrong thing to do, and it could have caused, and it could have caused an international depression.”
Note- targeting civilian infrastructure with no ties to the military would largely be considered a war crime because it would cause harm to innocent civilians. A memo obtained by Newsmax that was written by Adm Cooper to the force says this is not the type of thing the US military will do.
@PeteThamel Please tell me again where the integrity lies in an effort to provide an athlete with eligibility after he or she has been found guilty of illegal gambling? I'll wait...
Barely mentioned in the Sorsby discourse: Almost everything he did was illegal.
-- Underage gambling
-- Using other peoples' identities/accounts
-- Sending money to friends out of state to place bets for him.
The latter 2 could incriminate others as well. (Continued.)
@PeteThamel Trying to dodge responsibility for doing the right thing just because Sorsby hasn't played for Tech yet...is NOT a good look for Hocutt or the University.
@kirbyhocutt If the universtiy wants to support Sorsby in his recovery, fine. But you cannot include "integrity" in ANY dialogue supporting the University's decision to let him play. Just becuase he hasn't played for Tech to date, does not excuse you from responsibility to do the right thing.
