NPP National Chairmanship aspirant Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has withdrawn from the party’s upcoming national elections, just days after his campaign team picked nomination forms on his behalf.

He explained that his decision was guided by the need for the NPP to focus on rebuilding and strengthening the party after its recent electoral defeat, and added that his current circumstances should not become an additional burden on the party.
