They can buy a house. They can start a family. They can travel and learn! This will directly change the way people live. Yes, I suffered AND I don't want anyone else to. Just because I starved doesn't mean I want anyone else to. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.
I am thrilled to wake up this morning to student Loan forgiveness. I do not Twitter much so forgive my clumsiness but I actually have something important to say for once. For those unaware, there is a 20k forgiveness plan for all Pell grant recipients(sub 125k/250k income).
I will hear it constantly over the next few months. How this forgiveness is a 'Co-out'. How it's a 'reward for the irresponsible' or 'not fair' to people like me. But as a Person like me: I don't care. I am happy for people to have that weight off them. I am happy they can live.
