@brandon_wildman Spot was off by at least 1.5 yards. Ugh!

[Eric C. Larson @EricCLarson]

@StateFarmCenter 9/ Sorry I obviously do not know how to tweet sequentially but I just couldn't keep this story to myself. So fun to cross paths with an @IlliniMBB @IlliniAthletics legend this evening.

@giesbusiness

[Eric C. Larson @EricCLarson]

1/ OK friends, I don't think you'll believe this @IlliniAthletics story even with the photo evidence. So my daughter is using my @IlliniMBB tickets this evening and taking a friend. So, I am at Autozone buying a replacement headlight and waiting to pickup our son from an event.

[Eric C. Larson @EricCLarson]

8/ On the way over to the @StateFarmCenter, he said how much he appreciated my help and explained to me that everyday god makes sure there is a rabbit in the bush. I guess today I was the rabbit. Honored to meet an Illini legend's dad.

[Eric C. Larson @EricCLarson]

7/ I was gonna buy him a ticket and then one of the wonderful @IlliniAthletics ticketing people found a ticket for him with the @valpoathletics contingent. @StateFarm staff helped him with a wheelchair and hopefully got him to his seat.

[Eric C. Larson @EricCLarson]

6/ I was explaining how to get to the gas station and then get back to Fourth St. I said do you have tickets for parking and the game. He said I'm just trying to support my son. Finally, I said if you have a way back to your car after the game, I will take you to the front door.

[Eric C. Larson @EricCLarson]

5/ I told him I though he should be taking a limo, but he says I'm trying to support my son. He said he needed gas and I said if you have any gas at all you can get to the game and fill-up later since it's already 10 minutes into the game.

[Eric C. Larson @EricCLarson]

4/ I explain how to turn right onto 4th Street and go south all the way through campus to the @StateFarmCenter. He shakes his head that he missed by so far.

[Eric C. Larson @EricCLarson]

3/ I thought man that guy looks like @RogerPowellJr @ValpoBasketball. He said something about trying to get to the game and said I'm Roger Powell Sr.

[Eric C. Larson @EricCLarson]

2/ I am about to leave when I watch this older gentlemen struggling to walk around his car and appear to be trying to get at something in the back. I decide to go over and I ask him if he needs help. I've been noticing all these photos of Roger Powell in the @news_gazette and...
