Sakura is useless, even though she literally kept people alive for half the war and surpassed most shinobi medically and physically.

Itachi did nothing wrong when his entire character was intentionally written to be morally tragic and deeply flawed.

Talk no Jutsu is bad writing even though Naruto’s philosophy was always about breaking cycles of hatred, not just overpowering people with bigger attacks.

And then there’s the classic:

Naruto is badly written.

A lot of people don’t actually mean bad writing. What they really mean is:

The story didn’t go the way I wanted.

Not liking a writing decision and something objectively being poorly written are two completely different things.
