@TommyMac501@jonathanmaze My drive through experience (at 5-6 McDs in my town) is almost exclusively positive. Inside is almost exclusively negative. They are clearly optimizing for the former.
@AndToddsaid We rarely went out to eat. Our parents made us go outside and entertain ourselves for hours. I’m not blaming people today for it, but technology has led a level of entitlement here that is really dysfunctional. 2/2
@AndToddsaid This is pure entitlement. I think the ease of life today (internet, cell phones, etc) has raised expectations to a degree that we would have found crazy even 30-40 yrs ago. I mean, we had like 3 TV channels on my mom’s farm. 1/
@johnarnold It says that those experiencing mechanical catching have a more predictable result, which was she case for mine. Perhaps the surgery is just recommended for a wider range of ppl with knee pain than is optimal.
@kurt13warner Lots of random options on what worked for others. 1) See a doc to rule out arthritis, meniscus injury, etc. 2) Get evaluated for strength/mobility. Anyone that guarantees they can fix you is dishonest.
@1m_chart@natolisnuggets@danielcberk There’s a world of difference between 2:30 and 2:45. There’s also a big difference between training at 6:15/mi and actually running a 2:45.
@Malinformed__@TonySeruga I’m curious. In what way could a cop could “start the problem” that would then justify the guy chasing him around with a knife?
