A priest is not an MC you can send back to his seat.
What happened in Kitui is not “standing your ground.” It is a growing habit of treating the Church and her priests as optional décor at funerals they were invited to preside over.
A priest does not arrive as a guest of honour. He carries the office: the vestments, the Word, the burial rite, and the authority of the Church. If you invite him to host the funeral, you submit to that order. You do not then tell him to sit down, wait, or “just go” while the programme becomes a free-for-all of tributes and shenanigans.
Otherwise do not invite him. Hold your own gathering. Do not use the collar for legitimacy and then discard the man wearing it.
This is entitlement dressed up as grief. It is disrespect for established norms, for the dead, and for an office older than any of us. Kenya is sliding into a sad place of bitterness and people are not venting right when even the graveside becomes a stage for whoever shouts loudest.
@CJPDKENYA must speak. Silence here will be read as permission.

@omwambaKE That is just contradiction..
You can't Negate what does not exist, it has first to exist ..Atheists just contradict themselves.A means negation, Theòs means God.
So how do you talk of God who you say doesn't exist ,It's like questioning your being and your very existence...
A world cup doesn't determine your goat status
