The Expo '70 Canadian pavilion’s courtyard featured a memorable and highly photographed art installation by Erickson’s friend, Canadian Modernist painter, Gordon Smith. The spinners were giant umbrellas rotating gently on top of mirrored columns.

1075 West Georgia is a multi-award-winning icon and national historic landmark. Its use of reinforced concrete as the primary finish on both the exterior and interior of the building creates a building that blends modernist and far eastern architectural aesthetics.
