Agosto de 2018.

Yanín Pernía tenía 21 años y trabajaba como mesoterapeuta.

Fue detenida cuando atravesaba un punto de control militar en Barinas y la vincularon al llamado “caso drones”.

Durante una semana, su familia no supo dónde estaba.

En ese periodo de desaparición forzada, denunció haber sido golpeada, electrocutada, asfixiada, sumergida en agua, expuesta desnuda a bajas temperaturas y torturada hasta aplastarle las uñas.

Cuando finalmente fue presentada ante un tribunal, tenía señales visibles de maltrato.

Aun así, en 2022 fue condenada a 30 años de prisión: la pena máxima en Venezuela.

En diciembre de 2024, el TSJ ratificó la condena.

Pero el horror no terminó allí.

En mayo de 2026, Zoraida González, madre de su pareja, denunció que Yanín había sido víctima de violencia sexual por parte de 30 custodios.

PROVEA y el Observatorio Venezolano de Prisiones exigieron una investigación.

Hasta hoy no se conocen responsables.

Este 14 de agosto de 2026, Foro Penal confirmó que Yanín Pernía fue excarcelada del INOF junto con Emirlendris Benítez y otras presas políticas.

Yanín tenía 21 años cuando la encerraron.

Hoy tiene 29.

Sobrevivió a la desaparición, las torturas, una condena de 30 años y ocho años de prisión.

Pero la excarcelación no le devuelve su juventud.

No borra las torturas.

Y tampoco libera al Estado de investigar la violencia sexual denunciada.

Yanín salió de prisión.
