Brad Lander has made a career out of saying one thing and doing another. He pandered to the “Defund the Police” crowd in 2020—demanding $1 billion in NYPD cuts—only to now call for more cops on our streets and in our subways. He talks tough on reckless drivers while racking up dozens of violations, including repeated speeding in school zones. And now he’s promising to end “at-will” employment and protect workers from unjust firings—after firing his staffers without warning or reason.
Lander doesn’t stand for principles. He panders to whatever crowd he thinks will get him ahead.
