@GailSimone Yes, despite the fact that they never refer to the production within the film as “A Christmas Carol,” which I believe is a deliberate choice but I couldn’t find any evidence of such. They only ever call it “Scrooge.”
Holiday Fun Idea:
Get some friends, dress as Carolers. Go around the neighborhood; when they answer the door, take a deep collective breath, but before you sing a single note, ask if they have any figgy pudding. When they say no, grumble some disappointments then leave.
Repeat.
#Frankenstein fun game to play at home:
Spot the difference!
One of these is the Creature as played by Jacob Elordi. The other is Brad Dourif. Spot the difference!
Just in case it wasn’t clear, the reward for brokering peace is, you know, peace.
To expect a thanks or award is like asking for a high five after a blowjob.
Hot take for Devil’s Night:
The Crow is a horror film featuring an unstoppable killer taking out a group of friends who have to try to figure out how to stop him…
Only we never figured that out because we are told the killer is the good guy.
I’m not saying crime is good, but learning that thieves stole jewelry from the Louvre is the kind of whimsy that I did not have on my 2025 BINGO card and I am here for it.
