@GinoHard_@spittinchiclets Contracts like this are all about time for money.
Bruce deciding he wants to coach while he’s still being paid for his time doesn’t matter in the slightest unless you want fee fees to rule over contracts.
If Vegas lets him talk to someone, and they will, this doesn’t matter.
@revingev@BleedOilBlue@OilersFanaticYT He sold his rights to talk to people about other jobs when he signed his contract.
The contract is about time for money. Everything else is feelings.
Nobody cares about your feelings.
@KinaMagica@HumansNoContext Been able to for a while. It’s just cheaper than giving the president crackhead son a job with a Ukrainian Gas Company now.
@UrbanCourtyard Not worried about PE at all, more worried about common area maintenance shared with a lower number of units. Just the math of a $500,000 roof/30 units is more expensive to owners than $500,000/45
Adding floors would block the sun in the courtyard I suppose, so it’s a non starter
@UrbanCourtyard Aren’t common area things like elevators, new roofs, facade repairs, and the like more expensive when shared over less units?
I’m guessing these are all four floor walk ups, but that roof costs the same to replace whether you add a couple floors or not, right?
@matt1124@JeffMarek You realize that the “clause” you’re talking about is the term of the contract, right?
The only way to get rid of it would be to sign one year contracts, and even then you’re still locked up until the end of the season. Same situation, less guaranteed money.
@MRyanKruger@jarvis_best $380 million in public financing for the A’s stadium equals 10% of ONE year of CCSD’s $3.8 billion budget.
Increasing the CCSD budget 10% for one year isnt doing more for anyone than a stadium for 20-30 years.
I get your point, but you’re off by a couple orders of magnitude.
@BillCourtPowers@EricSpracklen There are no professional men’s sports.
There’s sports, and women’s sports. If there’s ever a day a woman is good enough to play in real professional sports every team would be begging to sign her because she could help them win.
@wyshynski Same goes for Seattle. Match made in heaven.
Lord knows if you can’t make it work, hire consultants so you have someone to blame it on when you fail.
