Just saw Alpha Gang at Fantastic Fest. First off, this gonzo movie is a perfect fit for this weirdo fest. Crazy cast playing ‘50s greaser aliens in some kind of post-fall apocalyptic landscape. Bautista, Chris Pine, Cate Blanchett. Odd, enthralling, unlike anything out there.

Resident Evil rules. Fun is at the forefront in a true survival horror story carried by a great everyman performance from Austin Abrams. Cool monsters, tons of gore, and all wrapped up in enough humor to keep it from being a bummer.
