@TheOneLanceB Shoutout to Lance for being a real one. Appreciate you using all your experience and knowledge to teach, not just flex.
You make this community better Bro!

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@TheOneLanceB As a beginner day trader,
$10M+ months just blow my mind 🤯
Makes me really think about how important learning to execute my set ups consistently, staying disciplined and patient can lead to tremendous success. Just size up!

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@TheH0n3stTrader Day trading is a coin flip with a twist. Can't control heads or tails, but you can learn to control the outcomes.
Recently I’ve really been focused on patience and discipline in my execution AFTER my entry.
Losing streaks don’t mean your strategy is broken. It's variance.

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@Stocktwits The elusive FU Pattern! 😆

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@wannabechamp Yes Bro! 💯
Visualize it, then do the work.
Picture the trader you want to be.
Now ask: would that trader revenge trade? Skip the plan? Move their stop?
Manifest it by acting like them today

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@wannabechamp Love the words of encouragement!
One red day doesn't define you. Neither does one green day.
Discipline, patience, and showing up again tomorrow does.
As a beginner I haven’t achieved any substantial payouts or real success yet, but I’m not gonna quit!

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@AmeetRai Beginner mistake: obsessing over win rate. I used to think 60-70% wins = profitable. Then you take 7 small wins and 3 big losses and you’re fk’d—
net negative.
Win rate means nothing without risk:reward.
I try to have more patience and manage my trades better after entry.

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@SJosephBurns Strategy gets you the trade.
Execution decides the result.

Day trading truth: execution matters more than the setup.
Same plan, different results depending on discipline in the moment.
As a beginner, honestly discipline and execution are my main focus right now.

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

Beginner day traders:
Careful of 'gurus' selling a trading course or copy trading subscription.
As a beginner, I get how tempting trading courses look. But no course replaces screen time and discipline. Anyone find an actual mentor pushing you closer to your goals?

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@Bradgohtrades Every trade is your responsibility.
Discipline beats talent.
Go slow, follow your rules, and stop chasing quick money. The market rewards patience, patience is my biggest weakness as a beginner.
The urge to 'make it back fast' is what drains accounts—Ask me how I know 😆

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

Day trading lesson learned:
Rithmic's app is a nightmare, and connecting it to my NinjaTrader account = frustration and hours wasted. Never making that mistake again. Anyone else waste $55 on a Rithmic eval?
Me: I'll just connect Rithmic to NinjaTrader real quick. 🤪

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@wannabechamp Trading is the best career!
Still early in my journey,
I’m focused on surviving first and
profiting second.
No boss, but you answer to your own discipline every single trade. Respect to anyone who's mastered it.

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@wannabechamp Distractions when I trade?
Phone, dogs, family,
coordinating work schedules.
I try to communicate and express the importance of being able to focus for a few hours to people close to me.
I’m not a “full time” trader with big payouts so it feels like they don’t take it seriously

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@traderjamesfx Patience is a weakness when I trade.
Patience to sit through hours of nothing for a clean setup.
Patience to hold a winner without cutting it early.
Patience waiting for the chart to show me a trade worth taking after getting stopped out. Mentors can’t manage your trades.

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@t0mbfx Revenge trading is dumb,
that’s a profound statement! 😆
I’ve definitely done it, most traders probably have.
But when you’re in the moment it’s much harder to walk away.
Easier said than done.

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@SJosephBurns #5 Execution.
This is the part I know I need to improve on.
Holding winners and cutting losers.
I need to have less patience with a loser,
cut it and just get out.
I need to have more patience with the winners, hold them, let em run!

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@austinsilverfx Prop firm competition is a good thing!
Especially when you need to buy 10 evals to net 1 funded 😆

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@RebellioMarket Bruh, “mastering” all those topics in like what?
2 lifetimes?!
Sure you didn’t leave anything off that list? 😆

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@wannabechamp 12 years in the game?! 👏
Being in my “infancy” stage,
not even a year in.
Some days I feel completely lost.
Like I haven’t learned anything, still chasing that elusive big payout! 😵‍💫

[Eric Vincent @EricVincent_]

@AmasPFT @Tradesyncer 15 points? Stop at 15 points?
15 is tight af on NQ.
That’s like a 1:1R, my stops would get hit even quicker at 15 points 😆
